Chilliwack Corn Maze

This week Josiah's class went on a field trip to the Chilliwack Corn Maze, which is a very cool place to visit! Every year the farmers plant their field in some interesting shape and this year it's they planted it as the logo for the Chilliwack Bruins- the new WHL team here.

They have lots of other fun stuff to do there too, which is good because it was pouring rain when we went on Tuesday. There is a fun hay bale maze inside the barn, which is the perfect size for 3 year olds! There are apple trees, which the kids were allowed to raid so they could eat their very own fresh apple right from the tree. They also got to go on a hay ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick their own pumpkin to take home. It was a great day, but I think the best part for Josiah was his new friend Joshua. He really likes hanging out with this new buddy of his from school. They went everywhere together all morning.

(I love the look on Josiah's face in this picture of the hay ride!)

I noticed that expression on Josiah before I read your note about it. I LOVE it! He's looking so grown up! And the cow picture, hilarious!

so much for the theory that people only LEAVE chilliwack.

new theory: people only leave chilliwack stinky.

great expression on josiah's face. its as if he's discovering the truth of that last theory
