Well, it's been an interesting couple of days. Josiah seems to have caught some kind of cold, Dwayne is feeling a bit flu-ish, and I have mastitis- a breast infection. I started to feel a bit uncomfortable a couple of days ago and then last night the pain in my breast was unbelievable, I was feeling lightheaded, I couldn't stop shaking. It was quite concerning. I made it through the night and we called Dwayne's parents to come out so Mom H could take me to emergency and Dad H could help Dwayne with the kids. So, after a few hours at the hospital I was indeed diagnosed with a pretty bad case of mastitis and I'm now on antibiotics for the next 10 days.
Of course, besides my return to good health, the most pressing concern on my mind was that I might have to miss my vacation tomorrow! =( We have tickets to the Western Final football game tomorrow afternoon at BC place and the Riders are in it!! I've been sooooo excited- the first time we get to leave both kids and have some time to ourselves and watch a game. Our plan was to head to Coquitlam in the morning so nana & papa could babysit the kids, then Zach and Cheryl are joining us in the evening, and we're all spending the day together on Monday for some good family bonding. Needless to say, I've been looking forward to the little getaway, and was more than a little concerned I wouldn't be well enough to enjoy it, or especially, to attend the game. So, I'm hoping the antibiotics start working fast- I am feeling a bit better this evening after a long afternoon nap and a bit of supper. Just exhausted, and still in quite a bit of pain. Anyway, we're still planning on going to Coquitlam tomorrow and we'll assume the game is still a go. GO RIDERS!!!!

Jen, I'm sorry for you that the Riders lost :(
Dwayne, I'm happy for you that the Lions won :)
I hope you guys were able to enjoy the game.
bye :)
Oh dear! I had heard you were sick I just didn't know it was THAT kind of sick. I had a couple rounds of that with Ian. The pain is unbelievable hey? I did a lot of expressing and hot compresses. I'm glad the drugs worked though so you could make it to the game. It was fun to have you there. Fun in the sense that there's someone to mock for cheering for the losers, er I mean, Saskatchewan. :) Looking forward to more football games with you.
My friend, I am so sorry! Did you end up making it to the game? I am going to call you soon. I miss you.
Jen- Did you get to the game? Are you feeling any better?? I'm so sorry that you were so sick. The timing couldn't have been worse! Anyhow- I hope you got to the game and enjoyed a little date time with Dwayne.
