Josiah's school had a Christmas concert tonight, and the preschoolers were the first act. They sang "Away in a Manger," "Happy Birthday Jesus," and did a poem with actions called, "Clop, clop, clop went the donkey's feet." It was, of course, sooooo cute. I didn't really see any of the other 12 or so kids at all! It is such a short period of time, so I pretty much focused on Josiah the whole time. He was a little distracted by all the people in the audience, so the singing was non-existent and the actions were sporadic, but he caught on a little better by the end. =)None of my pictures turned out very clearly. Perhaps because of the lighting, or my shakey squatting position, or the 12 other cameras flashing at the same time... Anyway, this is the best one, with his classmates Daniel and Amber on either side of him. Good times.

Oh that is so cute! Nothing beats those first couple of Christmas concerts, they are priceless. Hard to imagine Josiah is already at that point in his life though - - he's growing up so fast.
Oh I can't wait for Christmas concerts. Ian has yet to be in any. He's too young for the church one. Maybe next year he'll get two.
sounds pretty much like elijah in his performance. Away in a manger is a big favourite around here. Josiah is looking hip.
in ours i had to stop looking through a camera lens before I missed it all. its much better live.
