Some Christmas pictures

Well, another Christmas has come and gone and this was another doozie. Abby's 1st, Josiah's 4th, and our 10th as a married couple! We went to Coquitlam on December 24th and spent 3 days and nights there with Dwayne's parents and Cheryl & Zach, plus some extended family and friends for Christmas dinner. It was really, really nice. I especially enjoyed sitting without distraction through the Christmas Eve service while papa babysat the kids! It was a simple, quiet service with Scripture and singing- my favorite way to commemorate the birth of Jesus. The days were full of good family time and some post-Christmas outings. It was a good break from the norm and felt like a great holiday.

We took some pictures on our camera, Cheryl and Zach took some on theirs, and Mom & Dad H took some too, so we are going to combine them soon. In the meantime, I'm posting some of the highlight shots, but there may be more to come... This is Josiah with his much anticipated Buzz Lightyear, which is all he asked for this year for Christmas.

Mommy and Abby- you can actually see that beautiful Christmas dress Abby was wearing in this shot, which you can't really notice in the family picture.
The family picture is a bit blurry, but you get the idea. (Sorry Tasha if you're cringing at this shot...) =) It was the best we could do while trying to get both kids to stay put long enough for a picture. As you can see, we couldn't tear mommy's necklace away from Abby's death grip, nor the aforementioned Buzz from Josiah's! Makes for good memories though. What's a family picture from this stage of life without a saliva-soaked necklace and and a tightly clenched new action figure?
