end of the season

The grade 8 boys that Dwayne coaches had their last volleyball tournament yesterday. The girls are already finished. Thus marks the end of this year's volleyball season. No more Wed/Fri practices or Tues/Thurs games or Friday night/Saturday tournaments. No more squeezed in Monday practices. Finally, we can have Dwayne back! Today we can pick him up at the usual time and have a chance to play and hang out before supper. Or rather, the kids can play and hang out with daddy while I make supper without anyone hanging off my leg or begging for snacks. Today I'm thankful for Dwayne's presence during the toughest hours of our parenting day!
