For those of you who have moved before, you know that it is no small thing to move to a new community and within a year to be able to say that you have great friends. I am so grateful for the girlfriends, especially, that I have in my life here in Chilliwack. Some I know from church, some from Josiah's preschool, some from our neighborhood, and some through other friends. We go for coffee or get together with our husbands to watch or play games. We hang out some mornings with our kids, or some evenings to scrapbook or watch Grey's Anatomy...mostly to watch Grey's Anatomy. Tonight was one of those nights. Dwayne was out at a gym night with the guys and I could have easily been home alone, lamenting over the distance of my oldest, dearest friends, but instead, I had great company. Don't get me wrong. I still lament over the distance of my oldest and dearest friends, but only because I love them so much, not because I'm lonely. That's awesome. Today I'm thankful for the girls here who I'm sharing life with.
