It resumed raining again today, after a couple of days reprieve... I'm growing weary of this rain, I must say. So, again, I woke up and thought, what are we going to do today? Later, Abby started emptying our CD drawers, which led Josiah to request his favorite band...Queen. =) Yes, Queen is Josiah's favorite band. Okay, he's only listened to 3 songs, but it's about all he ever wants to listen to. This album starts with "We Will Rock You," "We Are The Champions," and "Another One Bites The Dust." Those are the 3 songs he likes to hear, and we all dance around the living room for a while. The obsession started when we chose it as our "clean up the living room" song and now it's like the theme music of the Hansen house.
So, we danced around to our 3 songs and I felt like exposing him to something else, so I put on a couple of KOS songs, which I personally prefer for dancing around the living room. Then, we moved to Jack Johnson on the Curious George DVD since I love Jack Johnson and Josiah loves Curious George. He quickly grew tired of the "non-Queen" music though, and that was the end of exposing him to new artists. At least it was a start. =) It is amazing though, how music you love can lift your mood on grey, rainy days. Today I'm thankful for good music and dancing with my kids. =)
