"Yeah, you married a winner."
These were Dwayne's exact words yesterday, delivered with a confident strut, just after he had won us 10 Air Miles on the Safeway scratch and win card we got grocery shopping...
Man, that guy makes me laugh! We still find the same things amusing. =) And let me tell ya, he's right. I did marry a winner! For those of you out there who don't hear me say this often enough, choosing to spend my life with Dwayne was the best thing I ever did. (Next to accepting Jesus, of course.) I cannot imagine any other person in the world ever topping this guy. He listens to me, understands me, shares his own heart with me, supports me, appreciates me, challenges me, cares for me. I feel totally safe being who I am with him. He's fun to be with. I miss him when he's not here. He's a dedicated worker. He has a great mind. He's the best dad! He's my favorite person ever!
More than anything else that I'll be able to think of this month, I'm thankful for my husband.
